The listing is a catalog error as both "Ring of Fire" pieces exist for now only in piano reduction. The orchestration awaits completion of the middle portion. Also extant is "Ring of Fire III" for piccolo, Eb clarinet and piano. This has also been performed in piano reduction. Ring of Fire II (C flute/Bb clarinet) is not yet written. The two pieces that exist comprise about a half hour of music, total.

LAVALLEE arr. Delcellier "Le Papillon" DELCELLLIER, Joseph, Clarinetist, b BEziers 1876, d Montreal 1957. He later moved to Montreal and became an original member of the CSM (MSO). For that orchestra's inaugural concert, 14 Jan 1935, Delcellier and HervE Baillargeon performed Rosario Bourdon's transcription, for flute, clarinet, and orchestra, of Lavallee's famous piano piece Le Papillon. The Canadian Encyclopedia Publisher? Probably only in manuscript in the composers estate or in the orchestra library.
